Taiwanese national after 49 days

A Taiwanese national, who went missing, along with his companion, on 9th March 2017 (26th Falgun) while on the way to Langtang in Rasuwa, was found alive on 26th April, but his friend was found dead. Simrik Air Long Line team led by Capt. Siddartha J. Gurung and rescue specialist Chhiring Dhenduk Bhote conducted a successful long line rescue to airlift them to Kathmandu. Liang Shang Yuen (21) and his companion Liu Chen Chun (19), who were heading towards Langtang through Dhading’s Tipling and Pangsang Pass about two months ago are suspected to have fallen off the cliff. They were not accompanied by any guide. A team led by Dawa Tamang deployed for searching the missing tourists on behalf of the Ganesh Himal Tourism Development Committee, had traced them.
