Kathmandu Is not only the Capital city of Nepal it is also known as the trekkers capital From Kathmandu valley we can start Different types of trekking like   Chisapani, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel , Namo Buddha  trekking these are the  fantastic trekking  from Kathmandu. These trekking around  Kathmandu valley. Yet it offers a rich insight into lives, history, culture and religion of its inhabitants and Introduced Many things for different interested tourist . Most of the People  will walk  shivapuri watershed forests and villages during the  trekking time. Shivapuri hill(2729m) is the highest point of this trekking . From the top of shivapuri, can see western mountain manaslu, boudha himal, ganesh himal range, langtang range, dorjelakpa, shisangma and Gaurishankar. In short we can see more then 60 peaks from here. And other mountains can be seen and anither gain of this trekking is to reach Nagarkot which is the most popular point for viewing, terrace, river and beautiful scenery green hill. Extension trekking after Dhulikhel to balthali village; the trail is goes through Namo Buddha where is famous Buddhist stupa on the trail you can see nice mountains scenery traditional people, culture nature and a beautiful real Nepalese villages with the real Nepali Faces. Most of trekkers trek from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha then over night stay with the Buddist monk and Next day trek to  Panauti and Drive back to Kathmandu

Trip Itinerary
Day 01: KATHMANDU
Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport and meet up there and  Transfer to hotel.

Day 02: KATHMANDU
Leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Back to hotel and stay.


Day 3: Kathmandu to Chisopani (2300M)
Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal takes approximately one hour and trek from Sunjdarijal to Chisapani. The trail will enter through the Shivpuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. The first settlement you will come across is Mulkharka with Tamang habitants. The route heads down the ridge through a forest of oaks and rhododendron to Chisopani (2300m.)

Day 4: Chisapani to Nagarkot (2175M)
Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot. Trek starts to Chauki Bhanjag and continue the charming trails leading you toward Nagarkot. Nagarkot, (2175m) is by far one of the most popular destination. In the clear weather the Himalaya range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east,

Day 5: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel ( 1440M)
Trek from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel. As you approach Dhulikhel, a plethora of cultural diversities, interesting traditional practices, lush vegetation and rich birdlife unfolds before you. Dhulikhel (1440m.) is a small town with a long history. According to the records it has been around for more than 500 years. The artistic skill and urban ethos of its Newar inhabitants have created a place of charm and beauty. Streets are lined with bare-brick houses, carved wooden windows, sloping roofs, pagoda temples and sacred statues everywhere. The major places of worship here are the Narayan and Harisiddhi temples which are adored with profuse wood carvings. The Gokhureswar Mahadev temple, a 30 minutes walk to the eastern part of town, is a peaceful and scenic spot. The Bhagawati temple is situated at a height in the western part of Dhulikhel and dominates the skyline. From here, you can get a beautiful vista of the town and surrounding areas.

Day 6: Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha( 1750M)
Trek from Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha From Dhulikhel, the trail climbs up to the Kali Mandir, a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. From there the trail drops down to the village of Kavre and past a line of shops and tea houses. It then climbs again through pine woods past Phulbari and up and down a couple of more hills before you reach the hill of NamoBuddha( 1750m) is very important Buddhist Pilgrimage located in Kavre District about 38 km east of Kathmandu. The Stupa and shrines built in this lovely little hill mark a very ancient holy site where a legendary prince named Mahasattva offered himself to a starving Tigress with several underfed cubs. This legendary episode is depicted in a stone slab and placed right next to a holy Stupa.

Day 7: NamoBuddha to Panauti and drive back to Kathmandu  
Trek From Namobuddha to panauti and Drive back to Kathmandu . The trail leads you some beautiful villages , when arrived in Panauti we can some old temple and the typical newari culture after breakfast drive Back to Kathmandu

Day 8: Fly back to home sweet home

Traditional costume of Nepal Talking about traditional costume of Nepal it would be right to say not "costume" but "costumes" because though Nepal is a small country there are many ethnic groups living here and each group has their unique traditional dress. I will tell about a few that I find most interesting. The Newars . This ethnic group has many different styles of dress among themselves but there is one common thing - they prefer combinations of black and red colours. The most common seen Newar woman's dress is the   hakku potashi , a black sari with red borders. Young girls wear it knee level,  but older women prefer to completely cover their legs. The sari is complimented by a white   patuka  wrapped aroud the waist and a cotton shawl wrapped diagonally over the blouse.
