Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking known also as the small Annapurna Circuit is a very famous trek in Nepal. Poon Hill is one of the great place to see magnificent view of Mountains. From Poon Hill, you will see the best sunrise in the morning so every trekker go to the Poon Hill (3210m) early in the morning from Ghorepani.  This trek in a short time give you good opportunity to view spectacular mountains scenery including Mt. Dhaulagiri(8167m) and Mt. Annapurna (I)(8091m) as well as other less then 8000 meters higher mountains including Annapurna mountains, Machhapuchhapure (Mt.Fishtail), Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, Barasikhar, Mt.Nilgiri South, Mt.Tukuche Peak, Mt.Dhampus Peak, Mt.Hiuchuli and much more gorgeous view.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu- Pokhara. Drive/Fly to Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul (1010m)- Tikhedunga(1570m) 3 hours.Overnight at Tea-house.
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2840meters) 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 06: Hike up to Poon Hill (3210meters)- Tadapani (2610m). Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk (1940meters.) 4 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 08: Trek to Nayapul (1010 meters) drive to Pokhara by Car/ Van Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Pokhara City tour. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu (1345meters). Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Transfer to international airport to your own destination or Extend your trip.

Traditional costume of Nepal Talking about traditional costume of Nepal it would be right to say not "costume" but "costumes" because though Nepal is a small country there are many ethnic groups living here and each group has their unique traditional dress. I will tell about a few that I find most interesting. The Newars . This ethnic group has many different styles of dress among themselves but there is one common thing - they prefer combinations of black and red colours. The most common seen Newar woman's dress is the   hakku potashi , a black sari with red borders. Young girls wear it knee level,  but older women prefer to completely cover their legs. The sari is complimented by a white   patuka  wrapped aroud the waist and a cotton shawl wrapped diagonally over the blouse.
