Dudh Kunda is a lake, situated at the front of Number Himal, locally known as Milky Pond of Solu. It is one of the best destination places in Everest region. Dudh Kunda lake trekking is located in the low region of Everest trekking or Solu region. In every August there is an influx of devotees of Hindus and Buddhist who come to perform cleansing ritual at the lake. Dudh kunda situated in the lap of Mt. Numbur literally means lake of milk and is said to be a sacred lake and is venerated by the local people. You will enjoy panoramic Himalayan views of Everest, Mt. Number, and other Everest Himalaya range. The region of Dudh Kunda trekking gets fewer tourists making it a refreshing and peaceful place to trek where you will be overawed by the locals, the natural beauty of the area and the stunning mountain scenery. The trail to Dudh kunda trekking starts at Jiri on the route to Shivalaya following a spectacular, isolated ridge through dense forest and rocky and yak grazing pastures. The area is quite remote and you are unlikely to meet anyone on this rarely traveled trail. Traditional costume of Nepal Talking about traditional costume of Nepal it would be right to say not "costume" but "costumes" because though Nepal is a small country there are many ethnic groups living here and each group has their unique traditional dress. I will tell about a few that I find most interesting. The Newars . This ethnic group has many different styles of dress among themselves but there is one common thing - they prefer combinations of black and red colours. The most common seen Newar woman's dress is the   hakku potashi , a black sari with red borders. Young girls wear it knee level,  but older women prefer to completely cover their legs.
