Annapurna Base Camp Trek, also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary trek is one of the most enchanting trekking spot of west north mountain range of Nepal. This trek provides you an opportunity to visit the beautiful places of Nepal like Pokhara, Dampus,  Jhinu Danda,  Deurali Sinuwa Ghorepani and the natural setting of native and traditional culture of village people, along with beautiful scenario of mountain peaks, sunrise or sunset and snow rivers too.

Itinerary Detail

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu
Your flight will be landed at the international airport of Nepal. A representative of  Sherpa Guide Nepal will be there to welcome you with the warm greetings and then we will be guided towards the hotel room of Kathmandu. The night will be at Kathmandu discussing about the trekking along with the crew members.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara
From Kathmandu, we will drive towards the Pokhara. The scenic drive will go for about 8 to 9 hours through the main trail. The night will be fantastically spent at Pokhara visiting around the valley visiting around the lakes and caves of Pokhara. The night will be at one of the best hotel of Pokhara.

Day 03: Pokhara to Nayapool to Tikhedhunga 
 From Pokhara, we will have the drive over to Nayapool which will takes about 2 hours for us to reach. Then we will begin our trek following the trail to Tikhedhunga. The trail will pass through four beautiful villages. The night will be at Tikhedhunga at the altitude of 1577m.

Day 04: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
From Tikhedhunga, we will have the breakfast and continue to walk towards the Ghorepani to the altitude of 2855m. The trail will firstly goes for 2 hours ascent to Ulleri and the trail will continue seeing the glorious view of the mountains like Himalchuli and Annapurna south. We will spend the night at Ghorepani.

Day 05: Ghorepani to Tadapani
Early morning at Ghorepani, we will hike towards the Ghorepani Poon hill to view the glorious view of the sunrise and after viewing that mesmerizing view, we will return back to Ghorepani to have our breakfast and will continue to walk towards the Tadapani. The trail will offers us many glittering view of the surrounding. The night will be at Tadapani at the altitude of 2590m above sea level.

Day 06: Tadapani to Chhomrong
 We will continue our journey towards the Chhomrong which will go steeply downhill through the forest of rhododendron and through the two beautiful villages. The trail will offers us magnificent view of the surrounding mountains like Himalchuli, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna and other many mountains. The night will be at Chhomrong.

Day 07: Chhomrong to Himalayan hotel
From Chhomrong, we will walk towards the Himalayan hotel following the steep path to Sinwa village. We will trail across the bamboo forest to reach to the Himalayan hotel to the altitude of 2900m above sea level. The en route beauty will be interesting to watch.

Day 08: trek to Machhapuchhre base camp
From the bamboo, we will trek towards the beautiful region to Machhapuchhre base camp the trail will pass across the Hinku cave. We will follow the same trail across the path to reach at Deurali and will continue towards the Machhapuchhre base camp. The night will be at MBC at tented camp.

Day 09: Machhapuchhre base camp to Annapurna base camp
From the base cmap of Machhapuchhre base camp, we will trek along the icy path to the Annapurna base camp. We have enough time to explore around the region viewing the great scenario of the mountains. The night will be at tented camp at the altitude of 3700m above sea level.

Day 10: ABC to Bamboo
From the base camp of Annapurna Mountain, we return the path to the Bamboo. The trail will pass through many beautiful bamboo forests. The route will offers us the same scenario as it has offered earlier. The night will be splendidly beautiful at the bamboo at the altitude of 2240m.

Day 11: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
Form the bamboo; we will walk towards the Jhinu Danda. The trail will pass through the Chommrong and downhill to Jhinu Danda. The night will be splendidly beautiful at Jhinu Danda at the altitude of 1780m.

Day 12: Jhinu Danda to Nayapool to Pokhara
From Jhinu Danda, we will have the early morning bath at the natural hot water and will continue our trail towards the Nayapool. The trail will continue through the river bank of Modi River. Walking for about 6 to 7 hours will be enough for us to reach to Nayapool. Form Nayapool, we will drive for about 2 hours to reach back to Pokhara to stay the night calmly at the nearest hotel.

Day 13: Pokhara to Kathmandu
From Pokhara, we will take the returning bus back to Kathmandu which will go for about 7 to 8 hours. The scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu will surely mesmerizes us during the returning journey to Kathmandu. The night will be at Kathmandu enjoying with friends.

Day 14: Farewell
After completing our exhilarating trekking, we will do some shopping at the local market of Kathmandu. Then, we will arrange our Packages and will move towards the airport to catch the splendid flight over to our own destination. We will surely enjoy the farewell party organized by the Guide-Nepal. Traditional costume of Nepal Talking about traditional costume of Nepal it would be right to say not "costume" but "costumes" because though Nepal is a small country there are many ethnic groups living here and each group has their unique traditional dress. I will tell about a few that I find most interesting. The Newars . This ethnic group has many different styles of dress among themselves but there is one common thing - they prefer combinations of black and red colours. The most common seen Newar woman's dress is the   hakku potashi , a black sari with red borders. Young girls wear it knee level,  but older women prefer to completely cover their legs. The sari is complimented by a white   patuka  wrapped aroud the waist and a cotton shawl wrapped diagonally over the blouse.
